Oculoplasty & Lacrimal Surgery
Surgery of the eyelids, tear ducts and surrounding structures, including procedures for a blocked tear duct (lacrimal).
Oculoplasty deals with the structures around the eye — the eyelids, the tear-draining (lacrimal) system, and the orbit. Lacrimal surgery addresses problems such as a blocked tear duct that causes persistent watering of the eye.
Conditions commonly seen
- Watering eyes due to a blocked tear duct
- Eyelid position and lid-lump concerns
- Other conditions affecting the tissues around the eye
What to expect
