Glaucoma Evaluation & Management
Screening, diagnosis and ongoing management of glaucoma, including eye-pressure checks and visual field testing.
Glaucoma is a group of conditions that can damage the optic nerve, often linked to raised pressure inside the eye. It usually develops slowly and without early symptoms, so regular checks matter — particularly after the age of 40 or if there is a family history.
What an assessment may include
- Measurement of intraocular (eye) pressure
- Examination of the optic nerve
- Visual field testing
- A review of your history and risk factors
Management
Depending on the findings, management may involve eye drops, laser treatment, or surgery, along with regular follow-up. Your ophthalmologist will explain the options relevant to your condition.
